The Maple accent makes for an excellent pairing with the Walnut wood, the two create a beautiful contrast.
Our Premier level Cribbage Board is intended to last a lifetime--and beyond. We take great care while perfecting our designs to offer a sleek, eye-catching look while maintaining the utmost structural integrity and durability.
A solid piece of wood will be affected by humidity and other factors, which will have an immediate impact on a piece's integrity including warping and other deformities. Our board is constructed from alternating strips of wood (always from the same board) rather than using just one solid piece, which is an important distinction between other less expensive products and ours. This process is called "laminating". With our meticulous laminating process, we arrange the grains of the wood opposite of one another to counteract expansion and contraction that happens naturally from exposure to the elements. While this requires many additional steps in constructing a cribbage board, we think it's absolutely critical to deliver the best product. We design all of our products to be heirloom pieces which will live through the generations of your family.
Measuring out at 16.75" x 5" x 1", this board will accommodate up to three players playing a 121 hole run. There are engraved numbers along with lines on the playing surface at every interval of 5, separating the hole groups as well as a "skunk" double-line indicator. We have also integrated a method to keep score of your games, up to 7. This board includes a peg storage compartment on the back. Pegs are included.
This is our only board which we offer an optional choice for a custom engraving.
